Performers Stage School opened in September 2000 expanding to add Performers Big Kids to our Portfolio in 2019.
We offer a wonderful training ground for young talent in South Tyneside, blending the 3 performance disciplines of Drama, Dance and Music together to develop our pupils skills and confidence and make them the best Performer they can be! Some might say, a Triple threat.
The school is the brain child of performer, facilitator and educator David Ducasse who has a career and training that many rivalled contemporaries can only dream of!
David studied Musical Theatre at Newcastle College and continued his training at Sunderland University and Graduated with a Degree in Performance at Northumbria University.
As a performer he has appeared all over the world on stage and screen but is best known for being part of the Group SCOOCH who had chart success in the 90s and represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007.

Lisa teaches Performers Big Kids every Wednesday, Performers on Sundays and runs our brand new Fun. Family, Dance Club Sunday afternoon straight after Stage School.
The school's approach is modern, informative, practical and relevant. Classes are physically and mentally demanding but also bags of fun!
The Teaching staff have high expectations of each pupil - believing every pupil is unique. Considering this our teaching strikes the balance between developing technique, repertoire, and encouraging individual expression, whilst giving pupils real time experinece in first class productions in professional theatres.
We try to create and instill in every young performer an approach that is hardworking, rigorous, truthful, energetic, generous and absolutley commited.
